Acu-Stim is not just a state of the art, evolved version of: 'Black Box', E.S.T. and or Acu-Point Electro Stimulation.
Acu-Stim is the combination of the experience, skills, attitude and empathy, of a conscious human being trying to alleviate the pain and or suffering in another human being, who has asked for help.
In addition to that, Acu-Stim involves the learning of a technical skill, i.e. operating equipment; which will improve each time you put it into practice.
There is only one way to know if Acu-Stim works, and that is through practical experience.
Firstly, Acu-Stim, is a natural, 'human being centered', safe and simple way to improve your consciousness, thinking, and physical well being.
The therapy works via gentle pulses of magneticity, that are passed through the body’s Acu-point system to help stimulate the production of natural chemicals.
These chemicals form part of the body’s natural defenses that deal with stress, pain relief and healing.
This is delivered in conjunction with the added benefits of vibrational attunement, through frequency modulation
.
The first part of Acu-Stim is similar to acupuncture, but without the needles, risks or pain.
First, a few points on one ear are stimulated for a few seconds each, then a small set of self stick on pads are placed on one or two 'acu-points' on the body.
Basically, you lie down and relax for half an hour and feel gentle healing pulses.
Simply put, fast pulses help lift your mood up, while at the same time, slow pulses help calm and relax you.
One treatment is good, but a course of treatments are more beneficial.
Acu-Stim has been used to reduce the severity and length of withdrawal symptoms from:
Stimulants, Depressants, Anti-psychotics & Anxiolytics/Hypnotics.
Substances such as: Cocaine, Amphetamines, Ecstasy, Ritalin
and, Benzodizepines.

To raise awareness and good practice of Acu-Stim, as an aid to recovery from chemical dependence, substance misuse and emotional well-being difficulties.
Who is it For ?
Anyone, including specifically:
The workers, receivers and providers of all statutory and non statutory services. Including: Substance misuse workers, counselors, anyone working within the field of chemical dependency, substance misuse and the addictions. This includes All N.H.S. staff, health care workers, professionals, volunteers and anyone who has any form of contact with a health and or a social care service.
On satisfactory completion of the course, all participants will be able to work competently and confidently as a Professional Acu-Stimpractor within the field of Health & Social Care.
Course Dates:
The tuition course is now available on a flexible basis, to suit the needs of all concerned.
The formal courses have ran successfully since 2004, with practitioners delivering a much wanted and needed service in their communities.
