Acu-Stim Course Completion
Upon successful completion of the course, all participants who were able to demonstrate and apply the teachings of Acu-Stim, to a safe standard, will be issued a certificate, and make oath, to serve and protect the well-being of the public, standing under natural and common law; consolidating all that has been learnt and attested to.
Therefore, providing the holder with a written document to prove that their level of understanding, competence, skill and ability was high enough at that time, to offer 'Acu-Stim', as a bone fide Acu-Stimpractor, for the benefit of them selves and their community.
Upon acceptance of the certificate, the holder agrees to practice following the protocols and procedures written in the manual, and delivered in the teachings, at a time and a place that they feel comfortable and safe with.
Qualified Acu-Stimpractors will have also met the requirements contained within the Acu-Stim practitioner’s skills training course, ‘A Safer Way to beat Drug dependence’. Founded by: The Society of Free Thinkers (2000) Developed and researched at the PIPER (Peer Intervention Project for Education and Research.(2001)
Accredited and Approved by the N.O.C.N. (National Open College Network) for Street Talk Substance Misuse Services Training. (2004)
Ratified and Referred to as: "The NHS approved Acu-Stim course".(2007,08,09,10)
The qualified practitioner will have duties to perform, keeping their rights to practice intact. Primarily following the teachings, protocols, ethics, and contraindications set out in the Acu-Stimulation Practitioners Manual and Code of Practice taught on the course.
It is the responsibility of the practitioner:
1. To keep their certificate valid by contacting the training provider for re-assessment at least once a year.
2. To keep their knowledge and skills base updated with any current changes to practice and protocols that may be amended from time to time, due to any research and evidence/practice based findings.
The practitioner’s qualification to practice is: Separate from and not connected to any certificate issued by the National Open College Network.
